Estephanian Originals was founded by Steve Estephanian in 1967. Based in Los Angeles, the Company began as a manufacturer and retailer of swimwear and sportswear. Seeking alternatives to conventional cut and sew methods, Estephanian Originals pioneered new processes for treating white garments and soon had a loyal following. From Los Angeles to New York and beyond, clients valued the original thinking and product development that became hallmarks of Estephanian Originals.
In the 1980’s, Estephanian Originals created the successful private labels Swim Fair and ESTEPHAN. Later, the Company shifted its focus and became a design and development resource for leading apparel brands. Widely recognized for fresh designs, Estephanian Originals has been featured in high profile publications including Sports Illustrated and the Victoria’s Secret Catalog
